How does a country tell its (architectural) story on an international stage? What does it mean to represent Romania at the Venice Architecture Biennale?
Join us for a special conversation with Vlad Nancă, Ioana Chifu and Onar Stănescu — co-authors behind Human Scale, Romania’s participation in the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, curated by Cosmina Goagea. The talk will be moderated by Anda Zota, architect and Editor in Chief at Igloo.
Together, they will explore the dimensions of Human Scale — from curatorial vision to installation details, from the archival research behind over 300 architectural drawings, to the sculptural reinterpretations of human figures once sketched by architects. The talk will also touch on the two-space format of the exhibition in Venice (Giardini + Cannaregio), and the interdisciplinary dialogue between art, architecture, and history.
