ALVA9. The clocksmith is relentless
The work ALVA9. The clocksmith is relentless. (2024) is part of a series of pieces titled ALVA9. Their multivalent origin stems from the intersection of memory tied to a place, recycled materials, craftsmanship, architecture, and ecologically degraded urban spaces. All these aspects are brought together under the umbrella of sculpture.
With the piece The clocksmith is relentless., the artist explores the open volume it occupies in space while also probing the boundary between architecture, sculpture, and the concept of upcycling.
