Angel and Fallen angel
Fallen Angel and Angel form a biblical diptych built on the contrast between fall and purity, damnation and redemption. The first sculpture evokes the figure of the rebellious angel, associated with decay and corruption, also suggested by its rust-like patina. In contrast, Angel, cast in polished bronze, reflects light and symbolizes integrity, vigilance, and fidelity. Together, the two works trace a universal metaphysical journey, from the burden of matter to the aspiration toward light, in a visual language where beauty takes on a strange and memorable form.
