Anima Mundi

Anima Mundi presents a solitary figure suspended between emergence and grounding. The elongated body rises with a quiet tension, as if drawn upward by an unseen current, while a dense geometric cube anchors it to the earth. This contrast between organic form and rigid mass creates a dialogue between spirit and matter.
The figure’s surface, textured and weathered, carries traces of time suggesting a being shaped by the world it inhabits. Yet its posture remains calm and vertical, almost weightless, as if consciousness itself is slowly lifting the body beyond gravity.
The cube functions as both foundation and burden: a symbol of structure, reality, and the physical dimension from which the figure ascends. From this point of contact, the sculpture becomes a bridge between realms.
In Anima Mundi, the body becomes a conduit for the invisible the quiet presence of a universal soul moving through form, matter, and space.
The sculpture reflects the ancient idea of Anima Mundi the soul that moves through all things. Form becomes a vessel, where the visible body hints at an invisible presence that animates the universe.
