“Antifascist Shields” is a series comprising 4 artworks used at the 15th of March pro-Europe manifest. The artworks depict the stress overload generated by Călin Georgescu’s run for presidency and pro-Russian and fascist stances that have monopolized the artist’s imagination for many months, before Georgescu’s ban. The artist, Deniz, is a sociologist turned strategic planner, chef, and then artist and activist. He is fascinated by color, politics and everyday life. He is a social media addict.

Deniz Constantin

Deniz Constantin is a digital marketer by trade. During a solo trip in southeast Asia in 2019, he discovered painting and he has been painting ever since. He currently likes to explore most styles, such as expressionism, abstraction and his goal is to become also fluent in realism, as he wants these influences to converge together in the canvases created.
Constantin has had a solo show in February 2021, curated by Eugen Radescu, the director of the Bucharest Biennale.
