Autocannibalism explores the sacrifice involved in self-reinvention—the way we destroy parts of ourselves to create new ones in the act of self-preservation. The sculptural installation features a papier-mâché pigeon covered in sunflower seeds and placed outdoors, "activated" by real pigeons. As they consume their own likeness, they embody symbolic death, much like the absurdity of endlessly recycling the self, highlighting its inherent fragility.
