The forest was never truly ours. Despite acknowledging it as a mysterious and essential realm, modernity has instilled in us a misguided sense of knowledge and control. As we continue to clear it away, we witness not only the diminishing landscape but also the gradual collapse of our ideals and the reality we once understood. Chihaia delves into the intricate web of contemporary existence, where human intervention and nature constantly interact.

Each branch offers a distinct perspective on the complexities of modern society, highlighting how individual actions contribute to a collective impact. Chihaia invites viewers to reflect on their own role within this intertwined system, emphasizing our shared responsibility to the environment—“alone and in multitude,” as Kuno Meyer once expressed.
