Nigredo

Nigredo investigates the dark threshold of transformation through a field of ceramic relics and reconfigured play‑objects. Burn marks, fissures and metal sutures register processes of erasure and repair, turning the material traces of childhood into a laboratory of alchemical renewal. The project stages decomposition as a creative force: by subjecting clay to fire, smoke and re‑firing, Nigredo reveals how memory must be scorched and reworked to yield new forms of identity and resilience.
