The work consists of 3-5 real life size sculptures depicting a female hand holding a bunch of keys, almost clenching a fist with them. Unfortunately the image is familiar with a lot of women who found themselves in dangerous situations while walking alone at night in shady public spaces. The piesces are meant to be placed randomly around the sculpture park, as a reminder that we should create safe spaces for women. 

Andreea Grigoraș (b. 2000, Romania) graduated with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from the Sculpture Department of the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, the city where she is currently based. Her artistic practice is grounded in distinct processes of introspection and the conceptualization of her own experiences. The themes she explores include sexuality, femininity, purity, and the power dynamics present in relationships. Her artistic solutions are playful, often employing mixed media techniques.
