The Chest
Sometimes it feels like all that is good—memories, friendships, joy, and the light of each day—has been locked away in a distant chest, beyond our reach. We might glimpse through the keyhole, but what’s inside still feels unattainable. And then comes the question: who locked it away? I can only hope it wasn’t me—though maybe, unknowingly, it was.

Voicu Filip Nicolae is a visual artist whose practice revolves around deep emotions, human fragility, and the search for personal meaning amidst the chaos of everyday life.
