The work is part of a series of sculptures created from ready-made materials, contorted with the help of threaded metal rods, representing a reflection on bodily immobilization and the weight of time pressing upon us. The fluid and deformed shapes, precisely modeled, symbolize the physical and mental constraints of human existence, while the tightly interwoven metal rods in rigid structures evoke a sense of captivity and the impossibility of escaping the past. Every curved corner of the plastic adds a touch of fragility, while the cold metal suggests an inescapable immobilization—a constant reminder of the relentless passage of time and the burden we carry with us.
