The installation explores the relationship between body and freedom through a narrow metal bed, displaced from its domestic context and placed within the
landscape. The bed is the artist’s childhood bed, in which he slept for years during family holidays, carrying personal memory and shaped by the post-socialist transition period.
Cut-out fragments of leather attached to the bed suggest the absent body through traces and imprints, evoking intimacy, memory, and physical presence. The bed becomes a paradoxical site both confining and liberating, where restriction coexists with imagination and inner freedom.
