Espace Intermédiaire

Founded in 2022 by artist Teodora Cosman, Espace Intermédiaire gallery is oriented towards exposing and promoting artistic research projects where the process is as important as the finished product. The gallery is thought as a platform for exchange between artist and the public, a shared ‘space’, mental and physical, where the artist’s interiority (thinking process, working process, documentation/research process) becomes visible to the public.

Situated in Brussels’ most prestigious artistic quarter, the Sablon, the gallery’s concept breaks the stereotypes, being an artist-led, artist-oriented space among commercial galleries and established antiquaires. We organize curated collective and solo exhibitions in all mediums, with a focus on interdisciplinary approaches. Although we mainly work with local artists, our aim is to introduce more and more Romanian artists to the Brussels art scene.
