Founded in 2007 as a private initiative, Ivan Gallery emerged within Romania’s still-developing contemporary art scene. Initially focused on local and Eastern European artists, the gallery represents both established figures—Geta Brătescu, Paul Neagu, Lia Perjovschi, and Ion Grigorescu—and a new generation, including Silvia Amancei & Bogdan Armanu, Anca Benera & Arnold Estefan, and Cristina David.

Expanding its reach, Ivan Gallery also represents Romanian artists working abroad, such as Bartha Sandor and Mădălina Zaharia, alongside international names like Elijah Burgher, Ross Taylor, and Jaro Varga. Committed to broadening visibility for its artists, the gallery continues to engage with the global art scene.
