Aleksandra Żelichowska

Curator — Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków

Aleksandra Żelichowska is a Polish curator and art historian. She completed her studies at the Jagiellonian University in the Curatorial Module. She also holds an engineering degree in Biotechnology and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Cultural Management. Through the Erasmus+ programme, she gained experience as a curatorial assistant at the National Gallery in Prague, the Archiv der Avantgarden – Egidio Marzona (ADA) and Kunsthaus Graz, working on exhibitions, archival projects, and collection management. She currently serves as a museum adjunct at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków, coordinating exhibitions and supporting the institution’s artistic programme. Her research interests include curatorial practices, methodologies of art history, and contemporary art of Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on Polish and Czech art.
