Alexandru Papuc

Artist — Galleria 28

Alexandru Papuc explores in his artistic practice the relationship between memory, matter, and perception, creating sculptures that recontextualize industrial materials such as thermoformed plastic, stiplex, or plexiglass. His works transform commercial and often overlooked objects and materials into poetic artifacts, loaded with meaning and emotion. Through an approach that is both conceptual and material, Papuc intervenes in the initial functionality of these materials, releasing them from their utilitarian status and offering them a new life within the aesthetic realm.
