Georg Elben

Georg Elben is a curator and director of the Sculpture Museum Marl. From 2003 to 2011 he was the director of the international video art festival Videonale at the Kunstmuseum Bonn with exhibitions abroad in cooperation with the Goethe Institute. From 2006 to 2010 he worked as curator of the video production series Edition Bewegte Bilder in the Rheingold Collection at the Museum Ludwig/Cologne. Elben gave numerous lectures, university courses and exhibition projects on video art and sculpture and art in public space. He curated solo exhibitions of artists Janet Biggs, Barbara Hammer, Diango Hernández, Erika Hock, Mischa Kuball, Marko Lulić, Christine Moldrickx, Camille Norment and Günther Uecker.
