Mihaela Păun

ARCUB - The Cultural Center of the Municipality of Bucharest

With over 20 years of experience in cultural management, Mihaela Păun has been leading the Bucharest Municipality Cultural Center – ARCUB since 2006, where she fosters an active dialogue between institutional and experimental culture through events and programs spanning all artistic fields.

She played a key role in the development of Bucharest’s Cultural Strategy (2015–2016) and in the city’s bid for the title of European Capital of Culture. She has also initiated landmark projects such as Spotlight, B-FIT in the Street!, Bucharest Jazz Festival, and Bucharest Music Film Festival, as well as major exhibitions including The Universe of Salvador Dalíand Brâncuși: Man and Things.

Throughout her career, she has consistently supported the independent cultural scene and the city’s traditional events, while also contributing to the reintegration of Hanul Gabroveni into Bucharest’s cultural circuit.
