Norbert Filep

Norbert Filep is an artist and curator who lives and works in Cluj-Napoca. Through his curatorial practice, Norbert explores the tendencies of the new generations of young artists. His focus is oriented on new possibilities based on the relationships between young generations and established practices connected through various models based on local and international narratives. Some of his curated projects are Quarks, Leptons and Bossons, Jecza Gallery, Timișoara, 2023; Palimpsest, Himera Gallery, Timișoara, 2024; Permanent World Encyclopedia, Arta prezentului and Empower Art and Artists, 2024; The sun at its zenith holds the balance of the day, Sector 1 Gallery, Bucharest, 2025.
