Curator — Independent Curator

Tevž Logar is an independent curator, editor, and author, and co-curator (together with Ana Janevski) of Art Encounters Biennial of Contemporary Art 2025, opening on May 30th in Timișoara. His extensive curatorial practice encompasses collaborations with leading institutions, galleries and collections such as: Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Łódź; Museum of Modern Art, Ljubjljana; The Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin; Kunsthalle Praha; TBA21, Vienna; The Ovidiu Șandor Collection, Timișoara; Biennial of Graphic Arts, Ljubljana; Ludwig Museum, Budapest; James Gallery, New York; VOX, Montreal; Cooper Gallery, Dundee; American University Beirut; Kontakt Collection, Vienna; National Gallery of Kosovo.

In 2024, he was the appointed curator of the 10th edition of Triennial of Contemporary Art U3, hosted at the Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana. For the 58th Venice Biennial in 2019, he worked with the Pavilion of Republic of North Macedonia as curatorial consultant and the Pavilion of Republic of Kosovo as a writer. From 2009 to 2014, he was the artistic director of the Škuc Gallery in Ljubljana, and a lecturer in 20th Century Art History at the Academy of Visual Arts (AVA) in the same city. He is co-founder of the Ulay Foundation (2014) in Amsterdam, where he now sits as a member of the Advisory Board. From 2023 he acts as a president of the acquisition board of NLB Bank SEE Collection in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He lives in Rijeka, Croatia.
