Tomasz Wendland is a curator, artist, art historian and professor. He is currently the director of Mediations Biennale in Poland and of Pavilion 0 in Venice. He served as the director of Polish Institute in Dusseldorf, adviser and curator of the MSL Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź and he was professor at the Art Academy in Szczecin, Poland. He curated exhibitions across Belgium, Indonesia, Japan, China, South Korea, Germany, Uruguay, USA, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Turkey and Poland and collaborated with numerous biennials such as Wenecja Biennale, Manifesta, Montevideo Biennale, Nakanojo Biennale, Jogja Biennale.
