For this year’s edition of RAD Kids, STOL Collective is preparing an interactive installation with a dual function.

Using a structure created by architect Justin Baroncea, the collective will produce an installation that combines creative play with participatory photography. As part of the RAD Kids program, children will receive amorphous textile forms—soft tentacles—which they can decorate using various techniques: painting, textile appliqué, and other creative interventions.

The personalized tentacles will then be suspended inside the structure, transforming it into a playful space that will later serve as a photo booth for festival visitors. Guests will be able to take photos among the tentacles and receive an instant printed photo as a souvenir.

The installation is part of the Garage Sale project, organized by Sandwich Gallery.
