“Work & Travel” represents a recontextualization of an earlier sculpture by the artist Cristian Răduță, originally titled “Siberian Landscape,” through which the idea of adaptation to one’s environment is explored. The intervention on the object is minimal, yet it produces a significant narrative impact: through the simple addition of a fishing line, the vertical element is transformed into a fishing rod, shifting the character’s posture from contemplation to action.

This subtle modification highlights the individual’s capacity to recalibrate their tools according to the environment in which they find themselves, while simultaneously keeping the sculpture anchored in the present through this ongoing dialogue with its new context.
