Andreea Samoilă (Imminent Detour) is an independent designer and editor, as well as a visual artist. She is interested in objects, words, and tools that are not used “by the book,” and the predictable as well as unpredictable ways in which people use things inspire her to notice something surprising in objects and ideas that are otherwise overly familiar. Andreea creates books, graphics, and actions that form unexpected associations, wordplays, and play with the concept of the “mundane.”
