Daniela Pălimariu

Daniela Pălimariu (born 1986) is an artist living in Bucharest, Romania. Her work includes livable environments and objects, installations, semi-private events, and drawings, all of which understate the ambiguity of human relations, the need for personal space, play, and daily subversion.

Daniela is one of the co-founders of the artist-run space Sandwich in Bucharest (from 2016), and is one of the co-founders of RAD and co-director starting 2023.

Her works were shown at Catinca Tabacaru Gallery, Nicodim Gallery, tranzit.ro, Ivan Gallery, National Museum of Contemporary Art Bucharest, Salonul de Proiecte, Sandwich, C5 Gallery and C5CNM Beijing, LISTE Art Fair Basel and ART021 Shanghai, and was an artist in residence at Message Salon Zurich, residency.ch (CH), The Model (IRL), Nida Art Colony (LT) and EstNordEst (Quebec, CA). Her works were also installed in public spaces in Innsbruck (AU) and Beijing (CN).
